MV Agusta gets back to the Italian podium after 33 years. Luca Scassa was in great form and proved to be the leading force since the very beginning of the racing season, showing incredible skill and highlighting the great performance of his MV.

During Saturday practice, Luca placed his F4 1000R on pole. On Sunday, the 23 year got off to a great start and took control of the race on the third lap. Only on the final lap second placed rider Corti got closer to Scassa who didn't want to take any unnecessary risks and preferred to avoid the battle.

With this second place finish at Imola, Scassa took the Italian brand to the top of the podium, a mission that Giacomo Agostini accomplished back in 1973 when he got the Italian Title in the 500 class.
